Visitation Hours: Dawn to Dusk
The Central Indiana Land Trust owns and manages several nature preserves in Central Indiana. The primary purpose of these properties is to protect natural plant and animal communities. Most of Central Indiana Land Trust’s preserves are open to visitors, but for travel by foot only (see permitted and prohibited activities lists below).
Most of our properties do not have trails. At those properties that do have trails, we ask that you stay on the trails in order to preserve the fragile habitat that we are working to protect. Groups of 10 or more, please contact our office prior to your visit.
Please carry out all trash. If you notice something at one of our preserves which needs attention, please contact the Central Indiana Land Trust office. Our properties are monitored by volunteers. Volunteers also participate in stewardship activities at scheduled workdays throughout the year. To volunteer, please call 317-631-5263.
Please do not trespass on private property adjacent to Central Indiana Land Trust preserves. For a map of each property, please visit Our Properties.
